My name is Atif Ahmed, and I've been proud to call Sachse home since 2018. Originally from India, I made my way to Dallas, Texas, in 2006, eventually finding my place in this vibrant community. By profession, I'm a software engineer, leading projects in the financial sector with a blend of expertise and passion. Beyond the confines of my work, I'm deeply involved in various aspects of community life. Sports, particularly cricket, have always been a source of joy and camaraderie for me. My commitment to family is unwavering—I'm a devoted husband and father of three wonderful kids. In Sachse, I'm known for my active involvement in local initiatives. From volunteering at our neighborhood prayer place to managing traffic on bustling Fridays, I strive to foster a sense of togetherness and support. One of my greatest joys is gardening. Each summer, I tend to my vegetable patch, finding solace and fulfillment in nurturing nature's bounty. My wife's culinary talents complement this hobby, allowing us to share our harvest with those in need, including homeless individuals through local food shelters. Additionally, I'm deeply committed to humanitarian efforts. Whether it's supporting refugees settling in our area through volunteering with ICNA, organizing blanket drives during the winter, or participating in blood donation campaigns, I believe in giving back to my community and making a positive impact wherever I can.
